Bing Ads rebrands as Microsoft Ads

August 14, 2019 Bianca Altomare

Renaming themselves to take a broader approach, instead of just focusing on search, Microsoft advertising will now dive into ad inventory, data and audience targeting. The platforms goal is no longer about reaching a high count in their users but instead making every connection feel more personalized and valuable using a new concept.

Changes

  • BingAds.com is now MicrosoftAdvertising.com
  • Bing Ads Partner Program is now ‘Microsoft Advertising Partner Program’. The program provides your business with the opportunity for growth, recognition and expertise. Connecting your business with potential client and gaining exclusive access to Microsoft Ads resources.

In the next few months, Microsoft Ads will be introducing more products with built-in AI. Particularly with the Microsoft Audience Network platform, using AI for ways to reach the ideal audience for your business to allow marketers to reach the consumers that fit. Microsoft Audience Network focuses on understanding the consumer and has three-way multiple dimensions to target their desired audience.

  1. Customer Intent- focusing on remarketing, in-marketing audience, custom audience, and product audiences
  2. Customer Profile- LinkedIn profile targeting, age and gender targeting
  3. Location and Device- Location targeting and device targeting

With a newly boosted performance with AI in the loop, a significant ROI is expected in time to come.
