5 damn good ways to produce great content
Produce Great Content – 5 Ways
It’s hard to stand by and watch while everyone’s business is booming while yours is suffering. You know that you need to get involved in creating a website, a blog, and content, but for many small businesses, the social web seems like a necessary evil rather than a tremendous opportunity. Business people and marketers need to realize that they are wasting the opportunity of a lifetime… They need to produce great content.
Still, with so many people focusing on digital marketing it might be hard to stand out and make yourself unique from the rest. There are over 900 million websites and nearly 200 million blogs, so how do you reach these people just waiting for you to speak to them? How is it even remotely possible? Good question.
You also may find yourself asking a lot of these questions: what technology do I use? How do I market my business online and how do I start to make a dent in the digital world? Good thing you’re reading this article right now, or if I were you I would be booking my red-eye flight to Las Vegas right now to get away from work. All joking aside, although conforming to the new “digital age” seems painstakingly hard, it can be done!
A few things to keep in mind while building your online presence: ask questions, create a blog, create an eBook, build an email list, and use your email list.
- You should be asking questions that relate to your business. How can you attract people in the digital community? If you’re struggling for some content just start writing down some questions and keep doing it.
- Next thing to do is create a blog. Some marketers believe that they should keep information to themselves, but you need to make your content free and easy to share. This is called “liquid content”. It needs to be free to surf the net. Now it’s time to integrate those questions into your blog. Pose a question and create a solution through your blog. This will make you a publisher and a content marketer.
- Once you have a variety of blogs, it would be smart to create an eBook. This can be composed of all the blogs that you have written providing a solution to some of the questions you’ve asked. This is called re-purposing content. This isn’t a complicated process; it just takes some planning and effort.
- Building an email list is probably one of the smartest things you can do for your business. It still remains one of the best tools to reach your audience. Here at Raven5, we can help you with building an email list that will reach your target audience. We have spent a lot of time and effort building email lists for clients that have helped them expand their following on social media platforms.
- Lastly, use your email list! I cannot stress that enough. Why put all that list building to waste? Use it to talk to prospective customers and to spread the news about your product or service.
You want to have an ongoing communication with your potential customers, so when they are ready to buy you’ll be the first thing on their mind.
