Blogs > The Death of SEO – Imagination or Reality?
December 1, 2010 Michael Bickerton
You know it’s endless, in the pursuit of information and knowledge at Raven5 we come across everything and anything. Today it’s impossible to keep track of and analyze everything that comes our way, but the death of SEO? This had to be discussed.
Our team at Raven5, and we’re lucky to have a team, are involved with multiple clients and multiple programs, each of us learning something new, daily.
I recently came across something recently that I found to be very interesting. I’m certainly not promoting it, yet, I’m not discounting the relevance of this program. The program is offered by John Stahl (according to the website) and he claims that his software will ensure traffic and your Google ranking.
There is a 32-page download, that is quite interesting, a sales pitch for SURE, but a site full of information and certainly if you have 30 minutes or so, an insightful read. There are lots of these quick fixes, do they work? We don’t know? Does Google rank them? His basic premise is that in order to achieve a Top Ranking in Google it is just a question of getting the right links pointing to your website. Links are one factor, no question, but, are they everything? We don’t think so.
As your digital agency we work hard to maintain our ranking, the death of SEO seems to be more imagination than reality.
