How Popular is YouYube?

I recently came across another great article by eMarketer called “Just How Popular is YouTube?” The article summarizes a study conducted by AYTM Market Research, observing how popular YouTube is as a platform. The study was also conducted to discover to what degree users consume YouTube content. The study concluded that about 60% of US internet users visited YouTube at least once a week in March 2013. Out of that 60%, 22% visited YouTube every day, and almost 30% visited YouTube a few times a week. A very low percentage of internet users rarely or never visit YouTube.

The survey also looked at how frequently users watch videos on sites other than YouTube. How popular is Youtube? Seems very popular these days.
