bloodcopy.com & Campfire – Vampire blogging?
Another interesting keynote speaker at the iab Mixx conference was Mike Monello of Campfire fame, located in New York.
Mike relayed their agencies experiences and marketing program that created a media buzz surrounding the launch of Bloodcopy.com (the site is “a blog about vampires, by a vampire”), that has become the unofficial website for True Blood.
Digital Kitchen was the agency hired to launch True Blood, which is an HBO series that surrounds Vampires living among the living. The full story is in the Financial Times.
The program was superbly creative, with personal “script style” letters being mailed to a select list of horror/vampire friendly people. All in all amazingly creative, both the launch and the bloodcopy blog.
As your digital agency, we’d recommend you take a few minutes (30 is more likely) and give some thought to the impacts and processes of this creative launch.
Are vampires real? I’d suggest they are living among us, alive and well. Want to know more sign on here. If you scared of the dark, best you click on our next blog.
