Is texting still a good thing to incorporate into a consumer promotion? The short answer is of course it is, however it still needs to make sense! Texting can get pricey depending on the size of your list. Think about a strategy if you’re incorporating it because you may do more harm than good.
The same way that having a phone number for your consumers is beneficial, an email address is even better! Think about it, you can send an email with perfect aesthetically pleasing images to showcase your brand! Not to mention how often we check our phones.
This one is so fun to plan out. Before we get into the types of coupons there are to use, this is the stage where you really have to think "what's wrong with our brand right now?". Is it your brand's image? Is there bad talk on social media? Are you receiving a lot of complaints?
This is the time where you really get to know your customers and more specifically and they like about your brand and what drew them in. Once you learn that, you can build your target audience and look for more people just like them. Really think about then, write a story about them.
We touched on this topic above in attracting new customers, but we will go more in-depth into keeping those new customers and turning them into repeat buyers. You want to build loyalty through understanding and trust, and you need to be consistent during and after a consumer promotion.
